Adobe Flash Developer

Adobe Flash Developer Position Overview We rank atop the communication and entertainment industries as one of the leading providers of some of today’s most utilized digital products and services. We are looking for an Adobe Flash Developer to develop and implement projects for mid to large scale web applications. The individual must show strong understanding of web functionality, usability, and optimization. This position is an internship opportunity. Responsibilities • Proficient in Flash development (Actionscript 3, CPU / memory optimization, Javascript / Flash bridging, Cross-browser compatibility) • Work with product & development management to break down high level goals into tasks and timelines Job Type: Internship Base Fee: None Location: Work from home/Telecommute Desired Time Commitment: 20 Hours Per Week Languages Needed: English Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Outlook • Collaborative and product-focused attitude. • Detail-oriented and strong follow up skills. • Desire and ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies • Interested in working on web applications that impact millions of users Technical Requirements • Software development and/or Flash Actionscript development experience • A proven track record of designing and developing complex Flash applications • Knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL) • Experience with .NET, XML • Experience connecting Flash apps with backend systems. • Experience developing with HTML, Javascript, CSS • Excellent knowledge of both Actionscript 3 and 2. • Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and modern software design Desired Qualifications • You write software for fun.
