ASP.NET Developer

Position Overview We rank atop the communication and entertainment industries as one of the leading providers of some of today’s most utilized digital products and services. We are seeking a developer who is proficient in ASP.NET, AJAX and MVC. (FLASH and ActionScript nice to have but not required). Primary Responsibilities • Providing application development and technical support for internal / external websites and special projects • Developing web pages and applications • Analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed systems in order to design or redesign computer systems to process data • Providing technical consultation in new systems development, new package evaluations and enhancements to existing systems • Preparing functional specifications from which programs will be written, then designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs • Participating in the technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of web servers • Planning, scheduling and conducting systems tests, monitors test results, and takes appropriate corrective action • Documentation, Documentation, Documentation Job Type: Internship Base Fee: None Location: Work from home/Telecommute Desired Time Commitment: 20 Hours Per Week Languages Needed: English Requirements • Advanced skills in ASP.NET, MVC and AJAX • Experience in Classic ASP, HTML/DHTML/CSS, JavaScript, VB, VBScript, MS SQL, XHTML, Cold Fusion, FLASH and ActionScript • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent hands-on experience • Excellent communication skills and results-driven execution • Ability to handle a number of different priority projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and work under pressure • High degree of initiative and self-motivation along with a strong desire to succeed • Project management experience preferred
